Proudly providing a community-driven, structured approach to sobriety for young men and transforming families lives in the South Bay for over 35 years. In 1994, Perry separated the age groups and opened a second sober living house for men in the Torrance, California area to accommodate the older adults. New Life House’s success in working with young men began to take off once the guys began living with their own peers.

This offers teens and young adults the best chance at achieving emotional and physical recovery from addiction. A sober living home allows an individual struggling with addiction to be supported and encouraged throughout their recovery process. A recovery community and peer support is essential for achieving long-term sobriety.

Deciding to get sober, and stay sober, is no easy feat, thus there will be bad days. A recovery community provides the necessary encouragement and support for an individual to overcome challenges that may arise during this time. Some sober living homes offer 1 to 3-month-long programs while others offer 12 months or 18-month-long programs.
